The gauge is cased in high quality stainless steel which is sealed to prevent moisture collecting and lens fogging. The face is 2 inches in diameter with clear contrasted markings which makes for easy legibility. A 1-1/2" threaded temperature reading stem is fixed on the back with a included fastening nut for installation. Installing the thermometer is easy and straight forward. Simply place the the stem through a hole in your barbecue ( if no hole exist, drill a hole approximately 3/8" in diameter) take the fastening nut and thread it to the stem.
